ASUU WOULD CALL OFF ITS STRIKE TO ALLOW STUDENTS RETURN BACK TO SCHOOLS, SAYS SGF AS HE EXPRESSES OPTIMISM

Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, has expressed optimism that the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) would soon call off its over five months strike to allow students return to schools.

“We have no justification to keep out children from schools for five months; we believe that in the soonest, our wards will go back to school because we don’t want to produce half-baked graduates,’’ he said.

Mustapha stated this when the President of Nation Council of Women Society (NCWS) Hajiya Lami Lau, led members of the Women in National Service (WINSERVE) Committee Paid a visit to him in Abuja
