KWARA STATE UNIVERSITY ISSUES IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS

Dear All,

Information reaching the University Management is that class attendance for the Harmattan Semester 2022/2023 Academic Session by both Lecturers and Students is generally poor.

It should be noted that the resumption date for the Session was 31st October, 2022 as contained in the University Academic Calendar for the 2022/2023 Session while classes ought to have commenced on Monday, 28th November, 2022.

To this end, the Mid-Semester Break comes up next week Thursday, 19th – Friday, 20th January, 2023 while CA week comes up in the week that follows – Monday, 23rd – Saturday, 28th January, 2023. This is in line with the Academic Calendar which is sacrosanct. The 2022/2023 Academic Calendar is attached herewith for ease of reference.

Lecturers are hereby directed to conduct academic activities accordingly as the Academic calendar is for your guidance and strict compliance.
