TIPS FOR EFFECTIVE LEARNING TOWARDS EXAMINATION.

There are several pointers to successful examination learning that students have overlooked, resulting in a test failure. Among these ideas are the following:

1. SET GOALS
Setting goals can assist you in preparing for your studies. Goals are necessary for motivation.
comprehend WHY you are learning (for you just to pass well in exams, finishinfinish, graduate with first-class, satisfyisatisfyrents, and have professional knowledge about your field of work for future your career). Whatever your goal is, it should serve as a motivator to learn.
Believe in yourself; your goals are within reach. You should be able to finish them in a reasonable amount of time and effort. There is no need to make concessions; instead, be realistic.
2. CREATE YOUR STUDY SPACE

Organizing your study space allows you to learn more effectively and concentrate on your studies. It enables you to distribute your notes and textbooks. Make it a habit to study in the same location every day to help you remember what you’ve read.

Purchase a desk (or table) and a chair to make your study room ideal for studying.
Make certain that you have what you require when you require it.
Remove any unnecessary items.
3. AVOID DISTRAINT AND UNUSEFUL THOUGHTS

One of the most difficult aspects of studying is staying focused.

Turn off your phone, laptop, and television to avoid being distracted while studying. It is critical to keep your phone in a location that is out of reach, out of sight, and, most importantly, out of mind. Avoid social media when you need your phone and laptop to study. It’s very distracting. Allowing your personal life to interfere with your academic performance is not acceptable.
It’s best to keep your phone nearby but out of sight, like in a bag or drawer. If you’re worried about missing an important call, set it to only ring for phone calls or “Do Not Disturb.”
4. DRAW A TIMELINE

This can help you organize your time and breaks, especially if you are taking multiple topics. This helps you allocate time to each topic.

Set a timer.
Set a timer for 30-45 minutes and focus on one task until the timer goes off.
Mark the end of each session to keep track of what you accomplished.
Pause for 5 to 10 minutes.
After each interval, take a longer, 20- to 30-minute break.
5. TAKE EXTENSIVE NOTES

Strong note-taking skills are the foundation of effective study. If you take good notes in class, you will receive high marks. When studying, make sure your notes cover the entire sequence of topics covered in class.
Create an outline for each of your subjects/courses. This will help you understand a subject better and prepare for a test. If you discover that certain parts of a lecture are missing from your notes, consult your textbook or ask other students or your lecturer for help filling in the blanks. You can also record each session so that you can go back and find the information you missed in your notes later.

TO-DO LIST / DAILY PLAN
Make a daily schedule for tasks to be completed, syllabus to be covered, assignments, homework, and other responsibilities. It allows you to keep your work current. Allow your day to run you rather than you running it.
WRITE DOWN YOUR PLAN EVERY DAY.
Making a daily schedule is a great way to manage your time. Every single day.
MAKE YOUR PLAN AT THE SAME TIME EVERY DAY.
You form a habit when you plan at the same time every day. And good habits can help you stay on track.
IF YOU DO NOT PLAN, YOU ARE PLANNING TO FAIL.
7. BE CONSCIOUS OF YOUR BEST TIME AND PLACE.

Do you study during the day or at night as a student? When studying, you should be fully awake. Before you begin studying, find a suitable study location and make sure that you have everything you need. Getting up to look for objects required for your progress can disrupt your concentration and waste study time. If you’re going to be reading for an extended period, get yourself some food and a drink.

If a quiet space is difficult to find, listen to low-level music, such as classical or jazz, to help block out talking and other distracting sounds. Music also has the additional benefit of keeping you focused.
Make your bed into a study space; it is very inviting to sleep in.
EFFECTIVE STUDY TECHNIQUES

Highlight the most important points. It improves memory while testing or taking an exam. After reading, take notes to help you remember what you’ve read. When combined with flashcards, they make an effective study aid. Make a note of the points on the card’s face.

9. ANALYZE YOURSELF

To determine your knowledge of the topic or issue, answer as many previous questions as you can about what you’ve read. It boosts your self-esteem and improves your test performance.

10. COLLEGE WITH FRIENDS

Teach your friends everything you’ve learned so far in your understanding. It will help you learn more. It is one of the most effective learning methods.

11. OBTAIN A BREA

Long periods of study have some sort of effect on the brain. Take a break after a long period of reading… A 5- to 10-minute break gives your mind a chance to rest, making it easier to recall what you’ve read. You can check your messages, watch TV, exercise, and so on.

12. EAT HEALTHY FOOD AND BE HEALTHY

Food may assist you in studying more effectively. It causes your brain to function at its peak. Protein-rich foods (milk, eggs, etc.), fruits and vegetables, and nuts and seeds are all excellent study foods. Consuming too many carbohydrates and sugar reduces focus. Drink plenty of water; it will help you tremendously.

13. GET A LOT OF SLEEP

Sleeping for 8 to 9 hours per night helps to renew and calm your mind, as well as improves your ability to think clearly.

14. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

Do not underestimate yourself. Have faith in yourself and your abilities. Your mind should not be fed MEDIOCRITY.

Finally, do not compete or compare yourself to others. The more you compete, the more you will receive. And depression leads to failure.
