Monday, 1st May, 2023 has been declared as Public Holiday by the Federal Government in celebration of the Workers’ day.
In view of the above, the Vice-Chancellor has directed that all staff should observe the holiday, except those involved in essential services who should later be granted day-off as appropriate.
All Heads of Departments/Units are hereby requested to bring this information to the attention of their staff for due compliance, please.
